I snagged this from the info box describing Kpop group Boyfriend’s new single with the weird use of brackets “[Love Style]”:

Like the title of the song [Love Style], the boys are willing to show their own style of love and fashion reflecting the trend. Together with diverse transformation of Color Suit and Fashion Suit which are considered to be the hottest in Men’s wear in latter half of this year, they will show varied looks on the stage embracing even Street Fashion. The boys will captivate fans’ eyes with a hip and soft style through the combination of downtown hipsters’ unique street fashion forming the main currents of New York Fashion and uptown socialites’ luxurious suit fashion of Pastel Tone or Floral Fashion.

And this, friends, is how improper capitalization can make you ridiculous and yet kind of awesome at the same time. “Floral Fashion”, anyone? How about a “Fashion Suit”? or better yet, a “Color Suit”?

Track of the Day:

The Next Messiah | Jenny Lewis

This is a sprawling mess of a song. And I love it. Just when you think you’re done, heck no, we have an extended jam out to do.

You know what’s kind of beautiful?

In French, you don’t really say “I miss you.” You say “tu me manques,” which is closer to “you are missing from me.”

I love that. “You are missing from me.”

I have such problems saying くだもの with any degree of speed. I trip up every time. The sentence I’m supposed to practice is ぶどうはくだものです。But for the life of me, I can’t do it without slllowwwing down and ssssouuuunnndding it all out.

I’m totally digging this new track from the Wonder Girls. It’s a lot of fun. I think they made a really great choice with the music video. Have you ever been to a flash mob dance party? They’re fun.

Kind of exciting, guys.

I always knew how to introduce myself in Japanese: わたしはCaitlin/ケトリんです。But I know, grammatically speaking, why you would do it that way. Which is a bigger deal to me than maybe it sounds.

It’s kind of nice when stuff comes together like that.
